Help! radio problems with '1982 300SD

The aftermarket radio in my SD is failing and turned out to be the source of the battery drain i was troubleshooting.
I have removed the old deck and now the dash clock stopped!!!???
I see that whoever installed the aftermarket deck cut out the original harness and now im not sure what wires are from where. the antenna has been wired to the deck so the dash switch i think was bypassed. there are new speaker wires and im not sure if the fader was bypassed.

Any help sorting this out so I can install this sweet kenwood I got from a friend and restore the dash clock?
