'96 S320 - Alternate Power Antenna Available from M-B

1996 S320 (W140) - factory power antenna (PN 140 820 22 75) had integrated analog cell phone capability.

I need to replace the original power antenna assembly but no longer need cell phone capability. Did an earlier model W140 use a power antenna that would mate with the '96 S320 wiring harness but does not have the integrated cell phone hardware and would therefore be cheaper?

Has anyone used the antenna integrated with the rear bumper (140 820 21 75; approx. $50)?

My radio works quite well and my power antenna never extends. I assume there is signal either from the defroster window wiring or in the rear bumper. If not, then it's signal is only coming from the unextended tip of the antenna on the fender.
