1990 300e drivers side door speakers stopped working

Hello all!
I've been searching around (on my phone which is terrible) and haven't been able to find a similar issue that I have. The other day I was driving and my front dash speaker and door speaker only on the drivers side cut out. I checked both the speakers and they look ok except they look as though they are the original. I checked my wiring as far as I could and everything looked in order.

I was wondering if there was an amp or something else in these cars that controls certain areas of the soundsystem or anything else I should check out.
