Can anyone tell me where I can get an extra 6 CD cartridge for the factory CD changer in my 95 S320? Do I have to get it from the dealer?

I don't know who made the changer in this model. I've seen people mention Alpine, Bose and others, but there is nothing other than Mercedes Benz on the head unit.

I also find that the "1" button does not work reliably - you have to press it 20 or so times to get it to register once - if you are lucky. Wouldn't be a big deal other than the code you have to enter if you disconnect the battery has 2 "1"s in it....

The factory cd changer is definitly an alpine. The cd cartidges don't have to be purchased at the dealer. It is still a standard alpine part#4905 I believe and they go for $25.00 US and should be found at your local alpine dealer. If you don't have any luck I have them in stock and can ship to you. Let me know!
As far as your radio it seems one of your switches is failing and needs replacing. I am not sure of your options in Canada but I have a complete repair center that can handle the repair.
