81 300SEL grey market head unit wiring help
I just bought a semi-nice 1981 Grey Market 300SEL. Has no radio in dash.
Pictured below is wiring as best I could shoot it tonight. Can anyone help me with which wires are supposed to go to what or any other install help to make this easier. I will be putting in a standard after market Sony head unit. I've installed stereos on my cars recently so I am not total novice at it. I was thinking it may be tough to find the wiring harness for this euro car thus skipping the harness and wiring the HU direct to these wires. Thanks and if better pics are necessary just let me know. Austin
