W203 Stereo Upgrade w/ Bluetooth and hands free

Long time since I've been in the forum. My Dad (90 yrs old) just decided he doesn't want to drive anymore. He gave me his '01 W203 with 30K miles on it. I need handsfree phone and bluetooth capabilities. Nav a plus.

Any recommendations for upgrading the Bose w/o Navigation receivers? I don't want to spend more than the car is worth.

No Cd changer installed but I'm ok with that.

Looking for the easiest to install and operate - any thoughts?

Hello and welcome to the forum! Very rare to find a 2001 with 30k miles! - take care of it. I would suggest checking out Crutchfield's site. They have a great configuration which will tell you exactly what will fit and work in your car. This should be a good starting place to find the hands-free/Bluetooth option.

I certainly will Dmitry - it's in unbelievable shape, interior, paint, wheels - it looks brand new. It lived its life in the Northeast, but was always garaged and pampered. Thanks, sounds like Crutchfields is the way to go. I've been on their site, looks like the install kit is required for functionality purposes. I was concerned with the MB connectors but sounds like aftermarket will work.

Good to hear! Crutchfield is really good with sorting the pieces and making sure that they really do fit the specific application. Personally, I've never reached out to them with questions; but I know people who have and all have said that their CS is very knowledgeable. Their prices are sometimes a bit on the high side, but the value of their service is there for sure. Best of luck and please let us know if you have any other questions!
