6x9 subplacement(ML430)??
 

Fellas:
I am looking for a place to place 2 6x9's in the rear of my ML.
The one place that looked good was in the rear by the emergency kit(drivers side) and by the cd changer on the passegers side. Not in those exact locations, but over the tire
wall in the plastic housing on each side so they would be uniform.
Is anything inside of that hollowed plastic? Also, is the factory head unit connected to the alarm in this 99 ML 430?

have you investigated in the back door?

Its possible there is roomt here for some.

Is there a reason you are going to use a 6x9 instead of maybe a 6" or 8" speaker?

I am going to attempt to distribute the sound a little more evenly than it currently is(presently 4 door speakers). I was going to
place the subs in the rear. I still will end up staying with the 6-1/2,
and 5-1/4's in both front and rear doors.
