Wiring Harness
Well im upgradins the audio system in my old W126 and i need a new head unit. I was just wondering if i would need a wiring harness to put one in and if so where can i get one??

the new radio will come with a harness if it is aftermarket. you can then tap into the ignition, constant power, ground and antenna trigger wire off the factory harness. I would try to leave the factory harness there and in tact if possible in case you switch back to the old head unit if selling the car.
The speakers should be wired bypassing the factory fader to be able to use the radio's built in fader. If using a factory OEM radio from a different model, you may need ot get the wiring harness for it. Alon
