I have a 1995 C280 with the Alpine CM 2294 (MBZ OEM radio)
and Bose trunk mounted amp.

My amp is causing popping noises and weak channel/missing speakers.
I tried two used replacement amps but they had similar issues since the capacitors go out with time.
No one rebuilds/restores these amps anymore.

I was considering installing a basic car radio and running new speaker wires to the rear for simple sound.
One pair of speakers.

After doing alot of research on connectors etc ,I realize that there is also a potential issue with the OEM car alarm not recognizing a new radio after the OEM radio is removed.

Does anybody know a simple method of bypassing the car alarm?

For that matter, an amp restoration service?
