The online catalogs have two options for my '87 300 SDL. Does anyone have firsthand knowledge of the standard for this vehicle? Options are 1105 mm Toothed or 915mm Smooth. I do not have access to the vehicle right now so cannot measure/check. Thanks.

Usually toothed, but all you need to do to check is get a 10mm(i think) socket and take off the round cover from the power antenna (inside the trunk on the main assembly). That just houses a round sprocket like gadget where the plastic lead wraps around. The sprocket will not come out or come loose, there is a keeper holding it on the sprocket rod. Just pull the casing off and look. take about 2 minutes.
