What's the antenna part # for my car?
Hi,
I'm looking to replace the electric antenna unit in my car but I don't know what the part number of it is. I suppose I could go about finding out by removing the one I have now, but I was hoping that one of you might know. If no one knows, no worries, I'll take a look for myself (I'm just too lazy). I typed in "antenna" as a search word in PartsShop and got a huge list of antenna related things. I assume that the list was comprised of all the antenna related things they had for all cars. Alex

$75 would be a lot less than I was prepared to pay. FastLane has a Hirschmann unit for $171.

antenna part #
Your antenna is likely the Hirschmann Auta 6000u. Depending on what problems yours has a few places have parts or can rebuild yours. If its a mast problem it is easy to replace. I recently had mine rebuilt, cost me $140.00, I want to keep my 83 300SD original. Hirschmann has direct replacement and universal antenna models, check there web site.

Try eBay or a wrecking yard if you want to find a good deal on a good used unit.
