This may sound crazy but has anyone experienced a problem in which the stock becker radio in a 190 would not shut off when you turn the car off? Just last night I noticed that after shutting down the car and pulling the key out of the ignition my radio was still playing and will only shut off when I press off on the radio. I don't have the original manual to the radio so I'm not sure if I missing something here.
Any thoughts. |

Make sure the plug on the rear is on. Also if one of the fuses is blown this can happen.

If all of your fuses are ok, and your radio still does not shut off, you may have a blown diode that is primarily used in the circuit for the electric seats. You would have to consult the proper wiring diagram, and if it is there for your car, it is, I believe in the wiring harness connector under the fuse box. It is accessed from under the dash board on the left side. On the 126 and 124 models it is a small plug in unit in the fuse box, but the 201 (190's) are the exception to this rule. This would probably be best left to an experience technician....
