Need help please----I own a 1989 300E. The rubber grommet holding my antenna in place needs replacement. I purchased the plastic outer cover and grommet from the dealer today. Has anyone replaced these recently. What do I need to do? Your help would be appreciated.

Very simple to replace the grommet. Just unscrew the chrome ring at the top and lift off the grommet and cover and replace with the new one and screw the chrome ring back on.
