new alternator for my 300E

welli forget to put this in my last post. I was wondering what I should do about getting a bigger alternator for my car, i already have an optima yellow top in the trunk along with a 1 farad cap, but i definitly need a new alternator. what should i do

Later W124s had larger alternators...as did wagons. Look into a 1995 E320 wagon alternator perhaps.

You didn't mention, what kind of draw are you looking at? How much power do you push?

power and amps

im going to be running two jl audio 1000.1's and a pioneer 2 channel 760 watt amp for the front speakers.

I just installed a 143A unit on my 1987 300D, should be simple on your 300E as well. Here's a link to my post with details & photos:
