1991 300 E Stereo Replacement, HELP!!!!!

I am a installer at a nationwide stereo and mobile electronics store, and a current owner of a 1991 190E 2.6. I love the older MBZ's, and I have researched and acquired alot of knowledge about the 190 series, however I am in a bind, I know the 190 wiring system for the stereo very well, and how to tap into it and the active bass system. But the 1991 300E system has stumped me and I need some help. I have a customer coming back at the end of the week to have the install finished and I am hoping I can have enough information to finish it then. We were able to get power ground and accessory and the antenna working, but the audio has given us much trouble, so the head unit is in but not working fully. I know this si possible, because my 190 with a aftermarket Pioneer head unit really sounds great. I desperatley need a wiring diagram for the 300E, with the active bass system, and the individual amps in the trunk, and the tuner box in the trunk. I am wiring in a aftermarket head unit and need to knwo how to bypass or unclude the factpry amps, bypassing the fader control does nothing and I cannot tap into the system behind the radio like I did on my 190. If anyone has a ddiagram and way to make this work please email me or post a reply as soon as possible.

Thank you very much, in advance.

you just go straight to the amps in the trunk, run 4 sets of wires and tie into the 4 amplifier outputs at the amplifers.

What about using the active bass system, dosen't bypassing the factory amps eliminate that system? Is there a way to keep the system active?
