Second Hand Becker from Gemany?

I would like to replace my original headunit and have been thinking of bidding for one of the many units for sale on the German e-Bay web site.

The unit I am interested in is a Becker Mexico CD- 4337 since I don't like the idea to climb into my trunk every time I want to change a CD.

New units in the US are far too expensive, hence e-Bay in Germany might be the answer.

Will a German Becker radio function in the US? Will it be compatible with a US spec Mercedes? I know that I would be needing an adapter cable (Q 6 82 0411) for the specific model I am keen to buy, but the adapter cable would be for a US version
of this CD Receiver. Would it also work for the German model?

Anyone have some experience with Becker untis which are not
usually not available in the US?
