CD player

I just purchased a 2002 C240. Was not to keen on paying $900 CAD for the factory CD (6 pack magazine) player.
Any suggestions that would be compatible. I am not looking for super HI-FI just to listen to CDs on long hauls.
Previously I had a C220 w/o a CD player and I always regretted it.
Thanks.

Look into the Nakamichi 35z, 40z, or 45z. They are all great head units and they look like a factory in dash stereo. Plenty of power and big time quality. They have trouble reading burned cds though simply because the lazer is of such high quality and so precise. I wouldn't reccomend any of them if you do play a lot of burned cds, but they are excellent stereos. They came out of the factory on some Porshes and Lexus, I don't know if they do anymore though.
