I am getting ready to put a system in this 77 280 SE, is there any"oh yea never hook anything to the red/white stripe wire" issues that I need to know about. Thanks

I put a system in my wife's 1978 280 a few years ago. As i recall the install went smoothly and pretty straight forward. I do not remember a red and white stripe wire with power on it. Plus that is a beautiful car. I never imagined that her car could have looked that good. Congratulations on your previous improvements and good luck with your new project.:)

I also had a '78 280SE. Can't help you with the stereo question, but thought I'd compliment you on the sweet paint job. Very subtle, very trick. Mine was gold, which I loved. But the dark blue is very pretty as well. Hope you figured out a way to get some more "go" to go with the "show"!
