stupid question
I have a rather stupid question, but am new to car audio. I have 4" infinity kappa speakers in the front, plan on getting 6 1/2" kappa components in the rear, and am about to mount the Basslink in the trunk. Do I need to limit the amount of bass coming out of the front speakers? Or will they be fine in conjunction with the basslink? THe reason I ask is because i am going to put on a dashtop, and once done, my front speakers will become somewhat inaccessable. Thanks again,

Are you planning to use an external amp on your front speakers? If you are then you can use the amp's high pass filter if it has one. If not and you feel the need to limit the bass output of the 4" speakers up front you can attatch a passive high pass filter right at the rear of the radio (closer to the actual speaker is better though). At any rate the front speakers should not be effected by the BassLink. There is no such thing as a stupid question.
