How many watts can my alt take?

I have an ADS 4 channel amp that puts out 80 x4. I might run it bridged for a total of about 200x2. Too much?

I had a 900 watt system in my old 911, and I did fry a 55 amp alternator. I put in a 70 amp, and it was okay. What kind of alternator does a 91500SL habe? I still might skip the amp and just go oem.

Thanks,
Roger

Roger the stock alternator will have no problems running two or three of those amplifiers. I believe it is @ 130 amps

Thanks for the info. I probably will do a system in this car in a year or two, but I've decided that for now I don't have the time for all of that fabricating. So for now it's going to be a stock 1432. But it's nice to know that when I finally do the system I won't have any power issues

Thanks
Roger
