How to remove harzard, window, defrost and antenna switchs?

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to remove the various switchs on a 1989 190 2.6:

Window and Hazard Switches
- Do I need to take off the wood console around the gear shift box off or do the switches just pull out. If I do need to take out the wood console, how is that done in detail.

Defrost and Antenna Switches
- Do I need to take off the black facing (I'm not sure what its called) that goes around the switches or can I just pull the switches out. If I do have to take the facing off can someone explain on how to do that.

Thanks!!

Carefully....

With a very small screwdriver (jewelers) pry the upper or lower edge of the switch just enough to press on the metal tab, that end should pop out. repeat on other end. The black facing is molded to the switch. Are you replacing or cleaning the contacts? You do not need to remove the console.

Partnumbers, please! I wanna get a antenna switch too!

as bern told you...they just pop out. Be careful as the plastic can be very brittle. It very easy to access all the switches in the wood panel if you remove it.
