Question E320 Radio Reception

The FM reception in my 98 E320 leaves a lot to be desired. Is there any way to improve the reception? I want to keep the original look of the interior so an aftermarket unit is out of the question. Is there any way to improve the reception?

There are acouple of possible problems. You could have a bad antenna amplifier. Is your radio alpine or becker? the becker serial # starts with be and alpine starts with A . Check your code card for the #. If it is a becker it could have a bad fm tuner section as I have seen this a lot lately. How is your am reception?
