Question about Built in Cell Phone
 

Just purchased a 98 E-320, It came with a built in Motorola Cell phone that you can take out of the center arm rest. While hooked up in the arm rest it works as a hans free speaker phone. Now is there an adapter so I can use my non- motorola personal Cell? If I decide to use the one that came with the car (very Dated phone) who do I contact for activation? Thanks In advance

Nope, the OE phone was an analog Moto Tac Lite / Micro Tac.
the Vehicle system will only work with that special MB phone.
Any attempt to use a digital or other brand phone usually
results in component damage.
If you don't want to use that phone, you might as well take it
out of the car.
