Becker 1432 left side - poor sound quality

When balance is set to the right side the sound is good. When balance is set all the way to the left, the sound is poor in all speakers on that side, crackling and weak.

Have swapped the amps behind rear seats(W126). No change. Could this be speakers on one side only? Wiring? Bad radio?

Has anyone had this situation?

Channel Problem

Hi jclayman,
It sounds like if you swapped amps and the noise stayed on the same side then the radio is most likely the problem. If you need me to handle the repair let me know. I will confirm the problem 1st. Include the code please.
