88 300CE- What are these extra wires for on my Becker Grand Prix ?
 

Thanks to a thorough search of the archives , the 300CE now has a CD player. I re-routed the speaker wires to disable the fader control on the console and simply followed the wire colours that Ashman had posted earlier. The one thing I was wondering about are the wires on the second plug- brown with stripes of different colours. Is this part of the alarm system ? Anyone know?

There is the alarm wire the phone mute wire and the vss speed pulse wire. Just leave these disconnected and all will be ok.

Thanks Scott, I wrapped them up in electrical tape and stuffed them out of the way, so all is well :) .For future reference though , what is the best way to route the RCA cable to the trunk for a sub amp ?
