Wiring configuration for new Stereo

Hi,

Does anyone know the wiring color code for the MB C280 1994. I'm interested in replacing the stereo myself. And, to my knowledge there aren't any wiring harnesses for my car; I guess I'll have to wire it according to the color code.

Thanks

Jonathan

I replaced the stock radio in my 1996 C220 with an Alpine. You can find the pin out for your radio at this web site.

http://www.beckerautosound.com/

Select the "What's New" menu then scroll down until you see

"All Mercedes Benz radios from 1994 to 1997 have the DIN-ISO connector. Click here for the pin out and diagram."

I made a new wiring harness (Alpine to factory connection) from a set of connectors I purchased from Becker USA. It cost about $40 +1/2 hour of work to make the adapter.
