another question about trunk CD changer for '94 C280
Where are the wire located? I wanted to make sure I had the wires before I ordered. I am thinking about getting:
CHM-S630 6 Disc CD Changer (M-Bus) Thanks!

Just curious, anyone know of a compatible changer for a '94 C280 that will play MP3's?
Thanks.

Well, I found a post with a pic of the cable, so I think I might be able to locate it now. Also found an Alpine CD changer that would play MP3's, but I couldn't find any for sale in the US.
If anyone can point me to a good player available here, drop me a line. Thanks.

All the Alpine Ai-Net changers ought to play mp3's, and you can either go to a big box (Circuit City, Good Guys) or mail order from someplace like Crutchfield.
The big question, though, is whether the stock head unit will be able to control the aftermarket changer. There might be some wiring adapters you could use, but you'd definitely want to check up on that first. -anthony |
