My radio gets alot of static when i use the power windows on my 1983 300SD. Where do I look and what needs to be replaced or fixed?

I would check to see if the brushes are arcing in the window motors... if you have brushes....If so replace them... maybe turn the armature to true it up and cut down the mica insulation between the copper plates..
