XM Radio installation in W211 E500

Does anyone know where the antenna connection point is for the head unit for the W211 E class? My stereo installer was utterly baffled and couldn't find it and they're normally very competent. Anyone have any idea?

The tuner module is inside the left rear side panel right behind the wheel well behind the power distribution module. I just worked on a 211 e-55 today and sirius sat. with a custom modification into the stock stereo not an fm mod...

Scott, thanks for the heads-up, it's in and working perfectly. Not sure why the local shop couldn't find it but it's all good now. Thanks! Can you provide some detail on the custom mod that didn't require FM modulation? THAT would be ideal.

The mod that my repair shop did is propriatry and can be done if your unit is shipped to us. It is an internal tap that is done on the headunit that allows a direct connection from your sat tuner. It works flawlessly. If you want to contact my repair shop iits is www.lajollaaaudiorepair.

I am glad I could help you out

Scott
