I just spent $1500 for my trunk seutp :) you like?
Middle light looks like an icesicle (sp?). So neon looks like ICE..and I got ICE. get it? lol
Side neons have a "lava lamp" effect. The middle light also bounces to the music if switched to do so :) Before: http://webpages.charter.net/michaels.../subfriend.jpg http://webpages.charter.net/michaels...subfriend1.jpg After: http://webpages.charter.net/michaelsam/ice/DSC02824.jpg http://webpages.charter.net/michaelsam/ice/DSC02823.jpg http://webpages.charter.net/michaelsam/ice/DSC02813.jpg http://webpages.charter.net/michaelsam/ice/DSC02812.jpg http://webpages.charter.net/michaelsam/ice/DSC02811.jpg Ok but the real cost: Panel: $25 Black carpet: $6 Neons: Originally 9.95 each, but Wal MArt's database if f-ed up so I got them at $1 each. Total cost: $34 (plus tax on the neons, so like 24 cents). edit: I redone the left panel btw. It's now flush like the right one by the XM tuner box :) |
How can you enjoy the neon lights if you are listening to the music in the car while driving?
In the first picture, I see that you have some sort of XM box in the side of your trunk. You are working on a black box. Is that a pre-amp? In the middle of your trunk is an amp. Is that the amp that powers your subwoofers? Where do you have that amp mounted? |
Is the walmart database stiill messed up ? lol i need some:D
|
Paul, the dood on the pics isnt me, it's my friend. Come on, I look better than that! lol :P
The black amp was for my 10 inch sub, now in the W202 with it. The white amp is now located to the right of the box, behind the panel. IT's what powers my subs. Crossfire amp, D-class 1000 watts. As for enjoying the neons, only when I open the trunk :P One neon can be set to "bounce" to the bass :D And walmart's database is screwed up only in my store. I tried other walmarts already :P |
