Question 300 TE Stereo project

Has anyone replaced the 6 speakers in their wagons with aftermarket component speakers. I'm completley rewiring for new system with separate amp in rear. I'm looking for input regarding what speakers will fit with minimum modifications. Amp will have about 40 watts RMS X 4.

Which system is this?? I have completely replaced the 2 dash and 2 rear speakers in my car. I used infinity reference 4012is for all of my speakers. I have a pioneer headunit, with a Koiiler 4 channel amp. That gives me very crisp and clean highs. For my lows, I use 2 rockford fosgate P3's 10 inch subs with a Profile California Mono amp. That gives me very clean and crisp notes. And it gives me the ability to blow ear drums when I so desire.

My system is the one with the active bass, I think that means the 2 ohm speakers in front doors were powered by a separate amp in the right rear of vehicle.

All speakers are stock except for the dash were a previous owner put in infinity which have a tweeter in the middle.
