124 rear speakers dead

I just noticed that my rear speakers are dead. When I roll the fader to rear I get nothing. Any suggestions? I have the stock Becker unit in the '92 300D. Amp? fader switch? speaker? TIA Ernie

got 'em back

After checking connections I was stumped. Rolled the fader back and forth many times--nothing. I then turned the volume up a bunch and the rear speakers came back to life! I didn't think a digital volume switch would or could work that way. Makes sense with an analog switch but NOT with an electronic one. Ernie
