Question antenna rubber base replacement

k... there's a lot of info on the antenna motor... but have you guys replaced the rubber base of the antenna? mine disintegrated.

I'm wondering how to get the antenna down to remove the part. I have the replacement parts already. wat do i do to lower the antenna mast into the inside of the cabin so i can remove and replace the rubber part??? Thanks!!!

I'm sorry... you are talking about the rubber bushing between the fender and the antenna (on the outside of the car), right?

Pull the antenna motor out. The rubber bushing is held in place by being insterted through the fender with the antenna pushed up inside it. Lower antenna all the way first.
