amp location

Anyone know where the radio amp is located in a 1991 300E?

this setup looks almost exactly like that of my friend's 92 400E.
question : with this setup can the mp3 6 cd-changer cha-s634 by alpine be added ? if so what connectors would be required ? and can the existing system by left intact with the addition of this cd-changer ?

Yes it can it requires the pie mbzealp mbzhar and the q6820135 and the alpine kca-130b. I can help you if you need it all. I have a complete diagram for easy hook up directly to the 400e.......

Do the earlier 300E's come with an amp??

Scott,
thanks for the reply. It would be nice to know how much those components would cost. if that cost is more than a new head unit then perhaps it would be best to just swap. but if it's less then yes def.
Mike, mine's an 87 as well but doesnt have an amp. the headunit has a built in 15 or 10*2 amp built in from what I remember seeing on the back of the unit of becker.
