where is the amp located? 92 300e
 
as the topic states. where is the amp located in a 92 300e benz????
and how do i remove the front and back door panels, the dash board grills and the rear fill speakers.
o ya how do i remove the deck?

The amplifiers are located in the trunk above the rt wheel well behind the trim panel.

k thanks i found it,
now what amp controls what set of speakers?

there is one amp then on someone behind on the left, then there is this other bigger box like thing that looks just like the amps behind them both.

There is one amp for the left side both front and rear speakers and the other is for the other side speakers. The tuner module is the larger box on the back side.

what are the ohms of the speakers?



my front door speakers everyone once in a while, well most of the time, cut out, and i have to turn the music on loud, when it hits a base note it "pops" back on.

i had a similar problem with my van and ended up changing the deck and it fixed it. do you think it could be the same thing?


also how to you remove the grils for the rear speakers? pictures would be great!

speakers vary in impeadance the dash speakers are 6 ohms. The rear grills lift up on the inside edge to get them out.
