R/L bias on a becker europa
Hi,
I pulled my becker europa cassette deck from my 83 300D today to check that the connections were ok (there was scratchyt sound occasionally when using my FM modulated cd changer). I put it all back in, and I thought it was fine. It seems to me that maybe there is stronger sound from the drivers side speaker set then the passenger side one. its hard to tell, but I think perhaps it is also stronger when in FM music mode (I noticed it first with cds playing). Out of curiosity, is vioce generally biased towards the left speaker signal? It seemed to me to be the case. If the right speakers were connected loosely, wouldn't the sound either be fully there or not at all? If it was dirty, etc., it would be the same, right? it wouldnt be loose/dirty and then send less sound to the speakers. would it? Thanks, JMH
