After market wiring harness

Im going to get an aftermarket head unit so I can finally start putting my system together. Where would I get a wiring harness for my car so I can plug in the new head? thanks

Awesome that helps thanks.

One more question though. Do I need a dash kit to install a normal din sized head unit. I know on my stock unit it has the holes on the bottom that the removal tool fits into and pulls the head out. But there isnt any of those on the aftermarket head. So how would I remove the aftermarket head once it is in?

If your're slick, you can actually install the new radio in the little cubby pocket that flips open underneath the radio, and leave the OEM unit in it's place

But if you were replacing the OEM unit with aftermarket, no you don't need anything special. The new unit is the same size as the OEM and comes with a metal "cage" that slides in and looks the new unit in place.

These threads might be of interest to you:

W140 Radio Head Unit Change

Like I said in there, I was able to pick up a n MClass adaper and an Apline adapter (or whatever radio you choose) and make your own by cutting each and soldering the correct wires.
