Connecting iPod to E320 head
I've got a '99 E320 wagon with the MB head. I do not use the phone. Question: Can I use the phone connection as an Aux input for my new iPod?
If that would not work, is there an easy alternative? I'm currently using the wireless option which is fine, but I'd like to hardwire it for better performance. BTW, if you haven't used one of these things, they absolutely change the way you use and interact with your music. Very hip. Ideally, I'd like to put the cord with a headphone jack into the sunglass/accessory area and plug in the iPod when I want to. It seems like a clean install if I can get it into the head. Thanks |

I suppose if you can decode the phone wiring circuit, it may be possible (mute/switch) and there are approximately a dozen past threads in this forum about hooking up the iPod.
