Am thinking of replacing the speakers in my 400e. I’ve heard that MB Quart are a good or great way to go. Do they fit the form factor for the dash, front doors, & rear deck?

If not, does anyone offer a replacement that fits the holes and is a premium sound speaker?

Lastly, will MB Quart work okay with the standard Becker deck?

Use the search feature of the forum to
look for info about "rainbow speakers".
I think they have direct replacements
for most MB's.
La jolla audio in CA sells them.

Most speakers can be adapted to fit,
but will require some work.

I spent about 30 minutes looking before I posted and didn’t find a direct answer... I also read the many references to rainbow speakers, but, of course, I'm interested in mb quart

I'm partial to MB Quart myself.

Unfortunately they don't just fall in place.
You'll need to fabricate/have fabricated an
adapter ring to make them fit.

The only way to get a good idea of what
speakers you need is to remove one
front and one rear speaker and take them
to a stereo shop and match them to a Quart.

I don't know the size of the OE speakers.
I would think the dash ones are 4" and the
rear are 5 1/4".
