I recently purchased two CD changers on e-bay. One was a fiber optic for 1999 slk the other was a conventional CD changer for a 240D. Both were purchased at a great price and have worked perfectly. Both units were mfg. my Alpine.

I bought one on eBay as well. MB Part # A 002 820 7989 Model MC3198.

I could not find a new one. The stealership would sell me a rebuild for over $1000.00 installed.

I bought it from this guy:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43948&item=2467185267

He treated me right.

Plugged right in.

Good luck.

Cd Changer ?

I am looking for a cd changer for a 1999 E320 4Matic Wagon, I am looking at some on eBay, but two dealers have given me different part numbers. Any suggestions? I hate to buy something I can't use.

I have a 99 E300

Part #A 002 820 7989 was a plug and play, perfect fit. I picked it up on eBay for $189.
