16-Valve Radio Removal?

Well, been trying to figure out how to remove the radio in my 190E-16. It's not like the other 190s, its quite different because of the rally pack. Any suggestions. I've already done a search, and only can come up with the standard 190E procedures. Thanks guys!

You need to 1) remove the ashtray; 2) unscrew the fasteners that hold the accessory instruments at the lower corners and pull downward to unlatch the console and then unplug the three instruments and remove. Then you'll have access to the Becker, to slide it out.

How does the entire ashtray come out? I can get the actual ash compartment to come out, but not the slider... I take it all this isn't to hard. Thanks!

Good job . . . now don't break anything, those trim panels and instruments cost a fortune . . . or should I have mentioned that first . . LOL.
