You can deal with Becker yourself, the $60 price someone mentioned earlier consists of the anti-theft feature removal and a minor tune up, ie. tape head, rollers, bushings, and belts.
As far as the buzzing sound, check your ground connections from the radios wiring harness and make sure its solid. BTW an exchange for a refurb becker can be had for $135 |

1990 300 TD - Wait
My battery has been up and down several time due to the car sitting. The radio now says "WAIT". I have my radio code. The initial question in this thread asked how to enter the code. The response started "After you press the button" - I hate to sound like a dumbass, but which button is "the " button. I pressed every button, and it only says WAIT.

leave the ignition in the acc position with the radio flashing "wait" until it comes out of wait mode and asks you for the code... It will say "code"
When it says code, enter the 4 digits and the radio will come on. |
