Options for HU replacement
What Mercedes CD players from other models (like W202) will fit into a 190E without much modification?
I have a 91 190E stock head unit and I would like to get a CD player, but would like to stay with the stock look. I would like to get a newer Head unit CD player. What kind of wiring adaptions will I need to make? Which model and year will work? tia az190e |

The euro Mercedes Audio 10 single CD unit fits and the only drawback is that the AM tuner had different tuning intervals.

not a good idea
LOL, I went through the same thing last month , asking on here, "oh what factory replacement for my 300E?" ... When I saw the prices, $400 more or less, I said F IT, and F looks!! and F originality... LOL ... for $300 I got myself an ALpine 9950 or something like that and it sounds way better than any factory radio... and pocketed $100
Look on ebay.... they got them if should u decide to get a factory radio... also check my posts, somebody posted his ebay link that sells them... but, try and sway yourself from that, screw the "originality" on the radio....
