Bad reception '99 E430 Radio Antenna Location?
 
Ever since buying my '99 E430 with the stock radio, AM & FM reception has been very poor. It is as if there is no antenna or a bad ground/return in the coax. Before I go ripping apart the dash I though I would look closer at the antenna but I cannot find any! Could it be in the rear windshield? Anybody have accurate info on this?

The antenna is in the upper portion of the rear windshield.
Do you have "tint" on the rear glass? OR cell phone antenna there? Has the rear glass been replaced?
Also there is a splitter/amplifier behind the drivers side C-Pillar cover that can cause poor reception.
