Needing Becker Head unit 1432 for parts

If anyone has a MB pre 1993 Becker Head Unit for sale … I'm in the market. I'm needing some "small parts" out of the face plate to repair my Becker Head Unit. It's a Becker Model 1432 unit.

Thanks,
Russell McMahon

I just replaced the becker unit in my 1990 300CE. I have the old unit and speakers that were returned to me by the installer. Not sure what model it is, but will check. Don't know what it's worth either.

Let me know if you're interested.

rklein,

Yes, that would be great if you could get the model number.

Yes, that looks like my Becker 1432 head unit. What year is your 300sdl? The Becker Grand Prix looks similar too.

Thanks,
Russell

The Becker 1432's usually sell for around $40ish on Ebay. It depends if the radios come with the CODE, have the tunner or have any other problems.

Since I'm only needing the Becker 1432 for replacement parts, I'll pay $40 + $8 for shipping....

Thanks,

Smile Face plate of 1432

I have a face plate that came out a burned 1432 radio. I'm selling it for parts only, no warranty.
You can have it for $75.00 including shipping through UPS ground.
I accept PAYPAL e-mail with answer.
In the rear of the plate that is in great shape it shows,
1432f054.971-257
My e-mail is elecboy@rcn.com, my name is Anthony Caris

Faceplate

The dealers had a faceplate exchange program, "Becker" offers one also, the price at one time was $75 for guaranteed working factory refurb.

.
Sorry but the 1432 is the most popular system right now.
Go through ebay and othr auction sites, there is nothing listed.
You can't call 1432 a radio but a controller since the tuner and amp are in the trunk.
You can't replace this with any Becker radio that's why they are so popular right now.
There isn't any $75.00 exchange for this particular face plate but $175.00.
There is only one Mercedez radio dealer's site and this is how much they charge.
There are billion 611, 754, 780 etc radio plates but only one 1432.
The price I'm giving mine out is like giving it away for nothing, having in mind the time I spend to repair the original system without results.
Thank you
AC

Faceplate

I dont know what dealer is charging you $175.
MBNA bulletin 82/37a "Becker Post warranty factory direct program"
Faceplate $75 with core $155 without.
Or go to Beckers page
http://www.beckerautosound.com/
They offer exchange program also for faceplates, chassis, tuners and CDs
