would you guys go for infinity kappa 3.5" or alpine SPS-080A 3.5"? sound quality wise.

I'm an Infinity man myself, but you'd be best served by listening to each one in person.

I have not used the Alpine speakers you mention, but I have used the Kapas in several installs and have always been pleased with their sound quality. But if you can listen to both, that's always the best way to decide.

I just got kappa seperates front dash / doors and kappas rear. Sounds good with the alpine head unit, they do require more power to be efficient though.
