I've tried just about everything untill last fall when I tried this combination on my Smoke Silver '86 300E...
Meguiars Cleaner Wax followed up with Meguiars Gold Class. This combination along with using Mequiars Quick Detailer makes the Smoke Silver just shine! Also I found the new Meguiars Endurance to do a great job on the tires along with bringing the dull looking "greyish" door handles back to life. As the car show season draws closer....I'm sure I will find many other uses for it! Ytown/Mike ------------------ 1986 300E 138k Board Member Western Reserve MBCA |

How is the kit that MB sells in a bucket? I recall it's about $100 from 1-800-FOR-MERC.

Never ordered the hundred dollar bucket...you can probably get literally the same stuff by buying the basics from Meguiars. MB and Meguiars have something of an agreement... I'm sure its great stuff and is a good place to start for someone who gets "shelf-shock" from looking at the detailing supplies section of their local parts store or bodyshop.
