I've read about everything in this detailing section about how to get a good shine on an older (10+ years old) car. It sounds like hard work, but worth it. I've got a 1 year old Mercedes, that is kept under cover at all times it is not on the road. Do you have any suggestions for a newer finish? All I have used up to this point is Mother's California Gold, and lots of it.

If there are not any significant swirl marks then just a good hand application of Meguiar's "Mirror Glaze" #7 before a coat of Meguiar's #26 Yellow Wax or Gold Class wax should work great. The coresponding 3M products should work just as well.
Hope this Helps...Lee |

Thanks Lee. I guess that somehow I missed "Baby's first wax", it was all spelled out there.
