Hello all! I've quite a number of Mercedes, particularly those for the Japanese market having side poles placed at the front-side of their front bumpers. It makes the car look more complete. Does anyone know where I can obtain one? Please write to me at W220@mailcity.com

Sorry, never heard of "front bumper poles" on a Benz. Sounds like a tool for intimidating pedestrians... If they are on Japan spec cars, then contact a dealership in Japan. Lee |

It's very beautiful actually. You know most Japanese cars have those things erected on the bumpers; used when turning into car parks etc. Those by MB are made of steel, some chrome and has an MB logo on top of it. I e-mailed MB Germany and 2 months later, a local MB dealer called me up saying that the pole is only for the Japanese market. Point your browser to the following URL to see a 190E with the pole :
