Okay guys I have just bought mequires, #2 and #3. I skipped the #1 as it says it is for real rubbed in road gunk.

I wash my car in a touchless drivethrough car wash almost every day.

There is really no real swirl marks in it.

It is shiny black.

Is this a good choice to do, #2 then 3?

Thanks

Chris;
I assume you bought the maroon bottles. If that's correct, then you're on the right track. However, I would still get number 1 and use it maybe 1 or 2 times a year. I would also suggest that once this stuff is used up, get the stuff in tan bottles(Mirror Glaze). Get #7, #9 and Gold Class wax. This should make the paint look deep enough to swim in!

Chris,
If your car has no deep swirl marks and is in generally good condition, the #2 and #3 are a bit extreme. Get the "Mirror Glaze" (tan bottles) #9 Swirl Remover, and #7 Polish. Then use either some Mirror Glaze (tan bottle again) #26 Wax or some Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax. The Gold class will look a little bit better on the painted panels, but it will leave white gunk on trim and stuff. The #26 will look 97% as good on the paint, and be usable on all panels/plastic/trim/etc. As always, use ONLY 100% cotton (including the threads) applicators, terrycloth, or diaper-cloth on the finish to avoid swirls. Skip the #2 and #3 as they are too aggressive for a car so new and in as good a condition. If you have any other questions or run into any problems post back and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Hope this helps...Lee
